Hello Skaters and Coaches!
Below are some clarifications to our announcements.

Remember, the registration deadline is next week...
Wednesday, June 1st. The earlier we have entries compiled the earlier we can get a tentative
schedule out to you and your skaters so hotel reservations can be finalized.
EVENT & RULE CLARIFICATIONS
Open Juvenile Events:
Because of the recent age change in the Juvenile level we will be offering Juvenile, Open Juvenile 13 and
Open Juvenile (14 & over) events. If you have a 13 year old skater he or she may choose to skate either
at the Juvenile level or the Open Juvenile 13 level. If this change affects your skater please send an email
to skateclubvail@gmail.com. We'll also review entries and contact skaters if we are unsure of
the skating level.
Governing Council Rule Changes:
As our announcement states, rule changes made at the May Governing Council will be in effect at The Vail
Invitational. Information on these changes is available on the USFSA website.
Mtn. Fun and Vail Invitational Cross Over Events:
Mtn. Fun Skaters may compete in Pre-Preliminary Spins, Jumps, Artistic & Artistic Duet events.
The entry fee is the VI 2nd Event Fee of $40, $20 for each Duet skater.
Mtn. Fun Test Clarification:
Skaters who have passed the Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field Test, but have not passed the Pre-
Preliminary Free Skate Test ARE allowed to skate in the Mtn. Fun competition. This is a correction to the
announcement.
Pairs Events
If you have pair teams interested in competing or exhibiting please contact us at
skateclubvail@gmail.com. Let us know the number of teams and their levels.
