A figure skater’s progress is measured by a series of tests, which are governed by the U.S. Figure Skating Association. Test sessions offer skaters the opportunity to highlight their abilities and advance to the next level. The Skating Club of Vail aims to support the growth and development of skaters at all levels by providing multiple test sessions throughout the year.
How to Register: All registrations will now be online using the SVC EntryEeze site. Please click on the link below to register. If you are a SCV member, log-in under “Existing Members”. All non-members can access the registration using the “Non-Member” section.
Test Deadlines: Test applications are due by 5:00pm MST on the date(s) posted below.
Test Fees: Test fees are on a graduated scale based on the level of the Freestyle or Moves test, beginning with pre-preliminary test. All skaters will also be charged a “hospitality fee”. Non-SCV members will incur an additional “non-member” fee.
Practice Ice: An optional practice ice session will be available to all registered skaters the day of the test. Payment will be required upon arrival, either by cash or check made payable to Skating Club of Vail.
