SCV Freestyle Sessions

dUE TO The Renovation of Dobson Arena and the seasonal closure of EPIR, SCV will not be offering any freestyle sessions or classes for the 2026 spring & Summer sessions.

WHat are Freestyle Sessions?

A Freestyle Session is for figure skating only. They are open to practice Freestyle skills (jumps and spins), Moves in the Field (edge work), Dance and Choreography. These sessions are also available for instructors to give private lessons. Skaters skating these sessions must understand the patterns used on the ice.

The Skating Club of Vail is happy to provide freestyle ice sessions for its members and guests. SCV Members will receive a discounted rate, as well as an option to buy packages for an added discount. Freestyle sessions must be registered at least 24 hours in advance, or you will incur a registration late fee. 

Skaters who have not registered & pre-paid for ice session(s) will not be allowed on the ice until they have paid! A $5 Late Fee PER SESSION Will Be incurred For Freestyle Sessions Not Pre-Paid For.
