FULL MEMBERSHIP
This category is for any member who intends to compete or who has started testing and skates at pre-preliminary or above; also for the non-competitive skater that has completed 2 membership years with SCV. All skaters under the age of 18 who compete and test must have one parent/legal guardian join as a “Supporting Membership”. Skaters over age 18 or Supporting Members of this class may vote in general elections, serve on the board, and also are eligible for scholarships after one year.
Annual Rate: $120.00
Requirements:
Skates on SCV club ice at Dobson Ice Arena at least 1x per week
Use the Skating Club of Vail as their home club when registering with U.S. Figure Skating
Skating Club of Vail jacket
Safe Sport Compliant - complete free course online directly with Athletesafety.org (Please print “certificate” once completed and turn in to SCV Board).
Members of this class are asked to complete 30 volunteer hours at SVC sponsored events, which can include both the Winter Ice Show and the Vail Invitational. In lieu of a volunteer commitment members are able to opt-out at a $500 fee. Please refer to the Volunteer Policy for more information.
